If you ever have the misfortune of having to own a Prius in a hilly town that happens to get snow, put snow tires on it. The thing is so shitty in not even an inch of snow on the road.

K, won't buy a Prius then.

Seems like the best option in this case!

Well I did put the word "misfortune" in there.

Yeah, my dad had one, my coworker had one....Terrifying and, frankly, dangerous in the snow. Even with snow tires the engine goes to sleep like bored windows 7 anytime it thinks there might be a slip. Oh, you wanted to try and join traffic? 10 feet out into the street...slip detected...engine power off. your welcome. *Fiery Death*

Yeah I know... if there's like any angle to the roads, which there is where I live, it just stops. Some hills are a struggle when it's 75 and sunny it has such little power.

Same with a FWD Ford Flex.

I bet. AWD is really what that needs.

Actually with Blizzaks it does fine.

I'm deeply grateful to you for not posting a picture of said Prius, I don't want to throw up in my mouth (again). Since you can't start a flood, set it on fire.

Trust me, seeing it in the driveway hurts so much. Everytime I sit in it I feel like a part of me died. I'd had to make the wipers go a lot just to forget I was in a Prius.
